The training workshop for the development of a National SDG 4 data mapping to monitor national education policies defined in the context of the education 2030 agenda, is the second in a series of workshops conducted by the UIS to support the National Technical Team, under the guidance of the Steering Committee in developing, implementing and monitoring national strategy for the development of education statistics.

The training workshop aims at:
* Facilitating and supporting the work of the Government of Nepal to map out SDG4 related indicators which helps monitoring national education policy while catering for the global and regional data demand;
* To provide guidance on data requirement and data generation in holistic manner covering all aspects of education;
* To help to develop a National Strategies for Development of Education Statistics
