National Launching of the Global Education Monitoring Report in Khmer
The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS), in close cooperation with UNESCO, will organize a National Launch of the Global Education Monitoring (GEM) Report 2019 on around Early November 2017 in Phnom Penh. Around 120 participants from technical departments at central and provincial levels, concerned ministries, higher education institutions, private sector, development partners and civil society organizations will be involved in the launch event. It aims to monitor national education agenda to show that education is the key to meet the commitments for Education 2030 and SDG4. The report focuses on parents and community participation, and learning outcome and performance. The event will be presided over by His Excellency Bandit Sopheachar Dr. Hang Chuon Naron, Minister of Education, Youth and Sport and Ms. Anne Lemaistre, UNESCO Representative in Phnom Penh.
