UNDP, ILO, UNESCO, UNICEF, RCO and the Costa Rican Education Workers' Union (SEC) organize workshops at the local level for union representatives from educational institutions throughout the country from July to August 2018. The aim is to raise awareness among teachers and other key actors about Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals.
The series of workshops will cover the different provinces of the country to produce an impact at local level. The conferences will be marked by a dynamic and participative methodology that promotes understanding and internalization of the contents.
The aim is to raise awareness among teachers and other key actors (directors, interdisciplinary teams, among others) related to the education system and linked to the CSS, of the fundamental role they play in the dissemination and implementation of Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDOs) and the promotion of their fulfilment.
