Implementing SDG 4 - Education 2030: what role for Education Management and Information Systems?
An Education Management and Information System (EMIS) is a key requirement for national authorities to assess, manage and monitor their education system. EMIS can be used to monitor national development goals related to education whether education systems are on track to meet international development targets such as SDG4.
The objective of the joint UNESCO-Global Partnership for Education conference is to share knowledge and best practices on EMIS, and explore ways to reinforce international cooperation to support developing countries in establishing or strengthening their EMIS.
