The High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) is the main UN platform on Sustainable Development.
The 2018 Global Education Meeting (GEM) represents a key milestone in the preparation of the 2019 session of the HLPF.
The 2019 HLPF Review is devoted to the theme “Empowering people and ensuring inclusiveness and equality”, which requires an in-depth review of SDG 4 in addition to the following goals: SDG 8 (Decent work), SDG 10 (Inequality), SDG 13 (Climate change), SDG 16 (Peace), and SDG 17 (Partnerships).
