Ethics Teachers’ Training Course in Saudi Arabia

An Ethics Teacher Training Course (ETTC) is organized by UNESCO and the Alfaisal University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from 22 to 25 April 2018. A group of 20 to 25 Bioethics professors from the region will be trained.
This Course is a collaborative effort involving UNESCO, the Alfaisal University, the Saudi National Bioethics Committee and the Saudi National Commission for UNESCO. It offers a unique opportunity for participants in the region to enhance their teaching capacities in ethics.
As part of UNESCO’s multifaceted capacity-building strategy, the Ethics Teacher Training Course (ETTC) aims to
- introduce the participants to the means and resources of teaching ethics;
- teach the participants the methodologies and methods of teaching ethics; and
- assess and provide feedback on the participants’ demonstrations of teaching skills under the guidance of experienced teachers.
The Course is conducted in English by a team of international experts with extensive experience in ethics education. d
