Award Ceremony of the 2018 UNESCO-Japan Prize on Education for Sustainable Development

The UNESCO-Japan Prize on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) rewards outstanding ESD projects and programmes worldwide. This year’s Prize will be awarded by UNESCO’s Director-General to three organizations promoting ESD in very different contexts and settings. Each of them will receive an award of USD 50,000.

Funded by the Government of Japan, the Prize was established by UNESCO’s Executive Board in 2014 in the framework of the Global Action Programme on ESD (GAP). This is the fourth edition of the Prize.
